SWB guys, how to remove a passenger side fender?

I need to remove the passenger side fender on my 66. This is a 912 chassis if that makes it any different. If someone could walk me through it in detail so I don't mess up this beautiful car that would be great.

If I remember correctly......
1. Remove the 2 upright bumperettes- these have allen screws in the top and bottom under dime sized plastic covers and pull straight out.
2. The license panel can then be pulled off the stubs.
3. Each of the side bumpers can be accessed. They are held on by allen bolts

Oops, you said "fenders" haha. The pass side is much easier because of no fuel cable/hoses.
It would help to have a patient person helping lift it off. Put the front on jackstands and take off the tire for easier access. Put a couple layers of the wide blue painters tape over the edges of the hood, fender and door so the paint is not nicked in the process, and start at the bottom.

I think the front bumper can stay on(?) and just be loosened, but disconnect the light wires first.

There is just a ring of allen bolts holding the thing on, with the rears inside the wheel well- they may have to be dug out of undercoating first.
The only difficult ones to get to are the one or two at the top underneath (front of the door) so do these first.
The allen screws are screwed into threaded fender clips you can buy at any paint-supply store and mabye even Lowes/HD. Give these a spray of WD40.

Fender shims are used to set the fender at the same height as the hood, and the fender is pushed in and out to adjust the gap.-Keep these in their same locations for the reinstall.

Go slow and be careful of the paint.
