slipping clutch
Hello!
Last summer i replaced new clutch kit whit flywheel. I drowe 2500km and im not really liket bacause it sliped when i accelerated hard. Expesially when i tryed to do 0-60. Know i want to Know is four plate copper disk good idea? Is there any reason to use that whit new original presureplate? My car has 3.0 l row 204HP in originally, know perhaps 250hp Jukkis |

250 hp or not, your clutch shouldn't be slipping, yet! Are there any signs of oil dripping from the drain hole of the engine-to-transaxle junction? If so, that is your problem ... the oil could be coming from either engine or transaxle. The four-puck feramic clutch disks are very harsh to drive on the street, and tend to be jerky and violent at engagement, so they usually aren't recommended for use anywhere but on the racetrack.

I'll second Warren, with that HP, a stock or stock rated clutch should work fine. Anything heavier will reduce the drivability. Sounds like oil on the disk or a clutch cable that's too tight.

I will look that oil issue if i can see any, hope yes there is some leaking in tranny. Because my tranny is only 915 four speed. I have all ready new 915 five speed at garage. Also i will look at that caple are not too tight. |
