Wiring Question

My current project involves installing a completely rebuilt/upgraded '79 3.0 into an '84 Carrera Targa and I'd like to get an idea of what I can expect in adapting the '79 engine harness to the '84's harness.

I swapped the CIS for Webers, so FI wiring is not a consideration. I'll be swapping the factory fuel pump for a low pressure pump and adjustable regulator, so no wiring issues there. The alternator I'm using is internally regulated and the black wire is unused. The car came with cruise control, but the brain and actuator are gone and I have no intent to re-establish the cruise system. I have the stock distributor and will be installing an MSD 6A.

I'd like to hear from the wiring gurus, how much of a wiring challenge should I expect?

Mike...
