What's the goop around the camber plates?
When removing my camber plates, I noticed that black goop that is used to fill in and seal the opening to the wheel well. This stuff has become hard as a rock and is cracking. When I replace the camber plate, should I use something similar to seal this area? If so, what is recommended?
Here are a couple of pictures of what I'm referring to: thanks, Frank

Shhh! It's a special Porsche goop. I think most of us just remove it when we need to get to that area and never replace it. Just a guess, but it might be needed in heavy rain/moisture areas.
