SSI Quality
Just wanted to give a "thumbs up" for the fit and finish of SSI heat-exchangers. I received them yesterday and am amazed at the quality. IMHO they are well worth the price.

I also have an 85 Carrera and have been pondering putting the SSI's on.can you give me a list of parts you bought? Where you bought and how much,please! When are you doing the install I'd like to know how it goes for future reference!! ------------------ Mully 911 |

Just wondering Carrerajim, what kind of muffler you're going to use with your SSI?
I just bought a used pair and I agree the quality is great. Much better than B&B IMHO. Andy '87 Carrera |

I got everything from Europroducts. www.europroducts.net SSI exchangers $750 ebay bid, Normal $820 Bursch 2in 1out muffler, $220 install kit, $80 (gaskets, nuts, ect.). You'll need two new oil lines as well, about $180. Europroducts has this too. Also have to do additional modification to the heat cross-over pipe which I haven't done yet. Bodymotion in NJ will do it for $180. www.bodymotion.com I haven't started the project yet. I'm still waiting on the muffler. |

That sounds cool! I would like to know how the install goes! How it sounds and feels.Im
saving up now for the same parts exept the muffler maybe I've heard some conflicting stories as to sound and db level. |
