Should I send off my fuel injectors for cleaning?

I'm in the process of a complete rebuild on my 87 3.2 and have taken apart the intake to clean and paint it.

Since the injectors are already out should I send them in to have them cleaned and checked out? Probably a no brainer but I'm curious what folks think.

Also who do I send them to and ~ cost?

Thanks
Brian

May I be the first to say yes if nothing else to make sure they aren't leaking. Mine started to leak after being dry during a rebuild. Also may I suggest WitchHunter since he gave some free advice that mine were shot so I will try to send him business.

Just had mine cleaned and flow checked and it cost $115 and included o-rings and pintle caps. BTW I had one with a bad pattern.

John Walker checked mine. He has a Bosch tester. I don't think it is quantitative. You just look for good spray pattern and fortunately mine were all ok. ps For all you locals, he does it super quick.

Had mine done at Cruizin Performance . Prices are $14.00 for flow testing, o-ring and pintle cap replacement. Mine came back looking like new and you get web access to the flow info.

+1 Witchhunter - they figured out that the seal kits I bought were wrong and gave me the correct ones...

just got mine back from Witch Hunter and they did a nice job.
Made it easy to balance the flow and end up with an even smoother running 911. As per Witch Hunter put the one with the most flow in cyl. #5 as it flow more air and get the hottest.

Do it, cheap insurance. I just got my 3.2L Carrera injectors back from Florida, I had them completely reconditioned and balanced.

Regards,

Alex
