Respray in Orange County
Does anyone have a recomendation for someone who will do a full respray around Orange County California. It seems like no one is doing them anymore, everybody is just doing accident insurance work.

So, go get in an accident.
 It's true, the money is in ins work because of the flat rates. They just quoted me $42 an hour and then turned around and quoted my ins co 36. I had to take the settlement based on the 36. With a good painter making 100K a year, you know what's up. There are some shops in OC, though, that do custom paint and some members here know them. I don't, unfortunately, but I had to throw in my comments.

It's not Orange County, but our own KevinP73 does amazing work. He's in Van Nuys. Kevin has done two jobs on my '71E and the work is perfect.

I had Century Collision in Org paint my targa bar...price was right and quality is perfecto. Just my $.02; they had 2 or 3 911s in their whse when I brought my parts in, so I had some faith in their abilities. Jeff

South County Auto Body, Lake Forest, is advertised in the Orange County Porsche magazine. They have painted two of my cars and I thought they did a good job. One was a Buick Skylark and the other a Nova wagon, not Porsche but they still did a good job. I see a Porsche or two everytime I go in there.

Jim East Auto Painting in Orange. Specializes in Porsche and MB. Lots of 356's at his shop. Knows his craft and does excellent work. My first hand experience.
