G50 slave cylinder

I've asked for advise here before regarding inability to shift. As a result I replaced the Porsche slave (0.95" diameter) with a CNC slave (7/8" diameter). The master has a 3/4" diameter piston. The pedal (5.5 to 1 ratio) is rock hard - too hard to drive - and only moves the clutch fork about 3/8". Using a bracket and a threaded rod, I know that the fork has to move at least 5/8" to disengage the clutch.

There are no obstructions in the lines as the fluid flows freely with the slave bleeder open. The master is from a Mini and stands upright so Porsche master will not fit.

I am wondering if anyone has converted to mechanical linkage.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I would suspect that the throwout shaft is binding because of inadequate lubrication. You can't just grease it. It requires a special lubricant. It can get so it will only move so far. There is no reason to change the stock hydraulic ratio because the stock setup (when working correctly) has a very low effort pedal.

How many miles on the car? Sounds like a typical g50 update is in order. Try g50 update in the search function

Everthing is brand new. Can I lubricate the shaft in place through the whole in the bell housing. What type of lubrication is recommended?

Thanks for taking the time to answer.
