tenax fastener won't let go!?!
Strange. Went to take the boot off my cab and one of the tenax fasteners will not come off. Glad it's not raining. Anyone familiar with this problem?

I found these part numbers on Pelican: OEM-99959159802, OEM-99959198312. They are both simply described as "tenax". Can anyone give a detailed description of these part numbers?

Using a dental probe type tool, I was able to push a broken Tenax "tooth" back up into the female portion allowing it to let go. Now to find a replacement...

cab83,
Do you have a PET disk? Do you know if one of the numbers I found on pelican is the female tenax that attaches to the boot? TIA

01,
Pelican parts staff could confirm that for you. If I find my Pet, I'll check also. BTW, you are not setup to receive emails. |
