Lightbulb Watch the water in your cracks!

Hey Guys, borrowed the father-in-laws ML320 to go to Vermont this weekend (no snow tires on the 911, and he insisted) and woke up Sunday morning to a shattered rear window....I noticed a slight "ding" in the glass last time I washed it, and it appears that thats where it started from (water obviously got inside there and expanded when it froze).....at least its not the P-car The glass guy told me if there is a scratch/gouge that is visible to your eye that he recommends putting a piece of masking tape over it if left outside...not sure how well this would work, but thought I would pass it on!

We went up to Mt. Snow -I do not ski, but the wife and I have a deal--if I go horseback riding, she will go snowmobiling....though the slopes were too icey to ski, they were super for snowmobiling....those 600cc sleds really fly!!!! I am in no way affiliated, however if anyone is in the MT snow area and wants to go snowmobiling the guys at http://high-country-tours.com/ do a great job.

Oh yeah, left leg is now 5" shorter than the right, but its ok- I am 6'6" so I have some room to take off of my right leg and still clear 6'0"

MT. Snow is a great area. A friend of mine owns the White House (an inn) down there.

Did the glass guy happen to mention that if you rub maple syrup on the glass it'll keep it from shattering in cold weather?
