ROW or Not!

Can some one tell me or point me to a place to I can tell if my car is a ROW or Not.

Here is what I can tell you:

Plate on Door
Imported by:
Alfred Leason
treasure Island

ser 9119302886

date mfg 1979N

Side of trunk:
911sc
9119302886

911(sqiggle line)SC6

On metal avove gss tank:
9119302886

I hear all this talk about torque, different CIS etc.

HELP!

Looks like it is in fact ROW SC.

the "3" in the series indicates ROW.
If it was a "2" it would be a USA version.
This info is taken from my book by Mark S. Haab

Here's my confusion.

Some said the other day that the ROW bumperettes were far apart.
Mine are about 12 -16" apart.

I don't have side markers.

I do have diiferent color lights on the rear.

I was going to ask you abou the other details like bumperettes and the side markers.
Those things are easier to change out than the VIN, which would have to be done at all the locations on the car.
I have seen several ROW cars that were made into USA versions for import.
Mine is most likely a black market car as I have the small bumperettes and side markers. I even have the original tachometer in KPH.

Carry this around to show the naysayers.;)

Probably what he meant was the bumperettes were smaller than US cars.

I have a 79 ROW and i dont have side markers.
