2.2 & 2.4 pistons

I was wondering if 2.4 pistons would fit on a 2.2? I am upgrading my 2.2T and have seen a set of "s" pistons that would increase my compression over the T ones I have. I was wondering that since the diameter is the same, would they fit? if not does anyone have any 2.2 pistons that would do what I'm looking for or any other ideas

They would fit, but you would lose compression 'points' below the nominal 8.5 ratio for the 2.4 'S' pistons, since your stroke is less. And, your 'T' compression was 8.6:1 to begin with, so you would lose power by going to the 2.4 'S' pistons ... and that is not the direction you want! Your best bet would be 2.2 'S' pistons.
