fabspeed or danske

I,m looking to put a cat bypass on my 3.2. would like some feedback on different ones. is the danske worth the extra $$ also are the birtch(sp)? straight test pipes louder ,more resonance etc.

Screw Fabspeed I just installed one on my 86 and it fit like crap. See my thread about it here or on rennlist. IM pissed off about it but already worked around it.

Very happy with my fabspeed/monty combo. sounds great without being too loud.

bursch straight pipe would be a tad louder, rear muffler has a greater effect on the volume.

+2 on the Dansk fitment....although I did do some grinding and smoothing on the inlet to make it much smoother...probably made no difference, but that's just me.

No problems installing my Fabspeed.
I understand there were some fitment issues some time ago, but Fabspeed got the message and revalidated their production and inspection jigs. No problems since, by what I understand.

I bought a used fabspeed and it bolted right on, no problems at all.

as of this date and the purchase of mine it was off. Including the copper gaskets with improper holes.

I got the dansk on today everything went really well. The PO had changed from a straight pipe to yhe cat not that long before I bought the car, so rusted bolt issues were not a problem. fit was perfect, and the results are great! already had a freeflow muffler on so had deep note before now it's the same deep note just a little more athorative. Preformance wise,(which is really why I did this), was very noticable.throttle response much better, mid range pull comes on a lot earlier.I don't have before and after dynos or anything, but you can feel the difference. thanks again for the feedback.
