Cab boot elastic straps

My 87 Cab boot has elastic straps that hook to rings behind the back seats. The elasticity has gone out of these straps. Has anyone found a good replacement for this stuff?
I know, I should probably just go to a material store and break out the wife's Singer... Then again maybe some Pelican out there has a tip or two.

Would you be talking about part number 91156149300? Try a search on Pelican and see if that's what you're after.

If nothing else, your question got bumped back to the front page.

mini baby bungie cords attached to my roll bar............... keeps wind from getting underneath cover boot. i also ditched all the rear seats and hardware.

i have a brand new OEM from porsche never used, never seen the sun FULL TONNEAU COVER 84-89! check what they cost from porsche.....you'll choke. then check aftermarket and you'll semi choke. bought this from fellow pelican to fab around rollbar to avoid airflow on passenger side and back. when we went to fab last week, angle of dangles wasnt conducive to making fit over recaros and around roll bar tubes. starting from scratch is the ticket and also is gonna cost me 1500 bucks and will take them about 40hrs to fab.
sssoooooooooooooooo.........my loss your gain if you need it. $274 bucks exactly what i paid for it plus shipping

I have a tonneau cover that is 20 years old. It has never been on my 87 cab. In fact it has never been out of the bag it came in. Come to think of it, I have never seen a tonneau cover on any 911 cab.

Does anyone have a pic of a Cab with the tonneau cover on?

Once a year for grins I try to make my tonneau cover fit. It never seems too. Seems like it is not quite long enough in my opinion.

An old thread and I haven't posted for a while. Can someone post me a picture of the location where these 2 leather straps are attached to in the back of your cab? Would appreciate it. Tankshttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1342737467.jpg
