Must change oil after using Techron?

I heard that Techron or other additives will stay in your oil and damage engine ,so you need to change your oil?

I don't use Techron, but I've read on this board that it should be added about 500 miles before your next oil change.

Their was a Porsche tech. bulletin that specified an oil change within 500 miles after adding Techron. This stuff I understand has been sanctioned by the PCA. I had been using Techron in my 944 since day one and I sold it with 335,000 miles without injector work, or engine rebuilding. That says something for this stuff!!!! For best results, it is recommended that you add a bottle of Techron when your tank level is very low. Fill up to 1/2 or less, drive until it gets down to 1/8 and add Techron again. You can smell it in your oil and it does thin out the oil as well since it does not combust and washes down through the cylinders. Just remember the oil change!! Good luck.

Porsche recommends that you put 20oz of Techron in the tank at fillup. Drive the car, HARD, and at 1/2 tank refill the tank.

I ran the Techron twice with fresh oil and replaced the oil following these two Techron runs, so the ratio for me is 2:1; immediate change of oil following depletion of second tankful.
