92 dB at Laguna Seca - what are my chances?

We're hitting Laguna Seca on the 12th of March and there's a 92 dB limit in effect for the event. As you may know the sound meter is 60 feet off the track, to the right, at the foot of an uphill section just after a turn. A loud spot to put the meter.

I'm already considering my three main options:

1) Plug one of my two discharge pipes
2) Fabricate a set of elbows to divert noise to the inside (left side) of the track.
3) Pussyfoot past the device.

I wonder what my chances are just running what I brung though:

3.0L with 120/104 cams, JE pistons, webers with rainshields and K&N elements, fiberglass ducktail, SSI, Dansk stainless two in two out muffler.

Has anyone made it past the noise nazis with a similar setup without mitigation?

Oh, and please can someone confirm that I can plug off one side of the Dansk two in two out without losing power. I figure I'd be putting together a setup similar to the Dansk two in one out muffler, and as far as I know there's no difference in power between the two.

thanks

Buy or borrow a meter.....and try it out. They measure in dBA scale BTW....not the default on most meters that read dBC.

My SC with 3.0L motor, 964 cams, SSI's, and the same Dansk muffler consistently registered 94 dB at LS on a cool, spring morning. I managed to pass sound by changing my shift points. I have short gears so your points may be different. I exit T5 in 3rd and use the sound booth as my shift point to 4th gear. I lose allot of speed at the end of the straight, but it was the only thing that worked consistently. (Yes, I had pipes angling the exhaust to the left.)

Have fun. I wish I could be there, but work got in the way!
