Will these seats fit my '87?
I've been thinking about changing my blue interior to black and I have the opportunity to get some black seats out of a '90 911. My car's an '87 so will they bolt in with no modification? The track looks similar but I don't want to go through the process if it's going to be difficult.

FWIW - I purchased a set of '89 (+/-) Porsche seats from the forum and they bolted right in to my '79SC.

They should fit with no problems.

Thanks.
Now a follow up question. Would the electrical connector be universal between the two model years even if the seats do not have the exact same power options. I'm guessing that some of the sockets will be inert if the seat does not have that power option.

I can't answer about year vs. year, but the plug should be fine.
My car originally came with power driver's side, but manual passenger side. When I got a set of replacement seats, both were power. Fortunately, there was already a plug wired to the passenger side, just not ever used. Worked great. FYI the driver's side was originally 8 way power, the replacement seats were only 4 way, both sides. -Chris
