VIN# 9112510361 (coupe or targa)

Engine # 6390147 (2.4 or ???)

I believe that 5 in there makes it a Euro carbed 2.4.

the porsche red book states that the engine is a 3 liter sc from a '78 to '80 model 911. anyway, i'll just go underneath the block to check it again. it has the cis, upgraded tensioners, turbo valve covers and ???

That is taken from the vin #9112510361.
911=911
2=1972
5=Euro 2.4 T with carbs
1=Targa
0361=sequential build number.


The engine number 6390147.
6=6cylinder
3=911s
9=1969
0147=sequential build number.

hmmm...that's interesting. i really hope that the motor is an "s" from a '69. i can move it to a '68 that i plan on building. i have a 2.7 that i can replace it with.
