Book Report - Paul Frere's "Porsche 911 Story"
I haven't quite finished it yet, but it has been such a fascinating read so far I need to tell someone who might appreciate it. I _highly_ recommend this book to anyone who has any kind of interest in the 911. The author discusses the developemnt of the 911 from start to finish, talks about why certain things were done, and why others weren't. I just finished reading the chapter on the development of the suspension and brakes, very very interesting. It answered a lot of questions for me. If there are any Warren wannabes out there, reading this book is where you start...

Does it go into the development of the new water cooled 911's (1999 - present)?
If not, does anyone know of a good book or other source of information that discusses the water-cooled 911's? b-man "Drive it like you stole it. Just don't set it on fire when you're done." |
