Looking for Prev. Owner, Las Vegas area, red 78 SC
Looking for the Previous Owner of a Red '78 911 SC that sold his car to a guy named Oswaldo from Long Beach CA. The car had 3.0 with 46mm Webbers, pre '74 heat exchangers and a stock muffler with a modified tip.
I recently purchased the motor from the current owner who doesn't know anything about Porsches. I thought I was getting a high mileage 3.0 with a set of webbers slapped on. However, after removing the carbs, I found that the intake had been ported to 44mm. So the engine has been apart at some time. Now I don't know where to go from here. I hoping to find the P.O. to get any info I can on this engine. Thanks, Mike D.

Bump, Still looking...
Asked current owner for PO's info and he has yet to return call. Anyone who maybe did track days or club racing out at LVMS know someone... Got a borescope I can borrow or rent?
