Ignition switch replacement

Lets continue with the exploits of Bob and his machine!! When it rains it pours!! Sometimes I just want to kick the &!@%# out of this car!!
The cold start problem is now just an exercise in acclaimation..Sputters, pops and off it goes.....but these last several days brought on a new problem........when I turn the key to the start position and release it the starter continues to spin (without engine igniting). Its only when I turn the key back hard to "off" does it stop. This tells me I must have a problem in the switch because it sticks. Soooooo, the electrical portion must be replaced, but at what expense? I have the A/C, knee level blower vents that make under dash accessibility DIFFICULT at best. Is their an easy way to access the ignition switch to replace this piece or do I have to take everything down (A/C vents panel) and hope for the best? As always guys, your experience with a similar problem and solution is forever welcomed.

Thanks

Warren, I know it can be replaced; actually its part number: 911 613 017 01. But, the problem is, how do you get to it? Can I go around through the hole after pulling out the tach? Do I have to remove the A/C vent unit under the dash? Do I go through the front opening after removing the blower motor. I wish to do this myself but do not wish to screw it up. Any help is always appreciated.
