911 Spare Bulbs
Noticed when putting my '88 coupe away for the "Salt Sabbatical" last month that the far left gage lamp was out. Recent postings here reminded me to buy a set of replacements for gages, so I went to the owners manual for some lamp specs. Not only does it not list these, it doesn't list any. (However, it does helpfully suggest keeping an assortment of spare bulbs in the car. Big help!)
Would like to get a list of types for all my applications (boy are there a lot of lamps in this thing) but don't know where to look. Any suggestions? |

I didn't see them at pelican, so I'll tell you you can get them through performance products, but keep in mind THEY ARE LISTED incorrectly in their catalog. You want the tiny complete bulbs, not the...whatever those itsy bitsy all-glass-with-2-wires- sticking-out things are.
In the old catalog it's called LB-7222. Call em, have em go get one and look at it before they send it. Otherwise, you'll end up like me with a bunch of these useless little whatever those things I mentioned are. ------------------ Kurt B 1984 911 Carrera Cabriolet 75 914 1.8 |

What's wrong Kurt? Don't you like the idea of a repair 'kit' for old instrument bulbs?
BTW, check your email, Kurt! ------------------ Warren Hall 1973 911S Targa |
