26mm turbo torsion bars in a carerra

Hi guys

I have found a set of 26mm turbo torsions which I would like to fit to my 1988 G50 911. as I understood it even though the bars come out of a non-G50 car they will still fit my G50 chassis however the seller insists they wont fit.

Does anyone know for sure if they will fit?

bah humbug - thats a bummer.

So the only turbo torsions that are any good for me are the uber rare 27mm 1988-89 5sp turbo ones?

Out of interest what are the differences between 915 & G50 torsions?

Why not just find a set of aftermarket torsion bars to fit your G-50?

Hey Scott, thanks for the suggestion but im actually looking for a less expensive milder upgrade until I get a bit more track time under my belt.

So, anyone know the specific differences between 915 and G50 bars?
