'73 Martini Livery... Sources?

The AutoX boys, sugested I post this here to solicit a larger response.

Building a RSR re-creation, and am looking for a source for some decals or vinyls for the '73 Targa Floria Martini Racing #8 Similar to this photo (attached) I think the hood decal is incorrect but you get the idea...

Perhaps a scale model set of these that I could send to a vinyls shop to have them scaled up and duplicated. Has any one here seen this done?

I'd hate to think that this would have to be custom painted... I'd never drive the damn thing.

Thanks,

Brent

hey Brent,
If you're talking about the hood graphics only, I would tape ( use black photo tape) on the car ,trace the tape on an oversize tracing paper (properly streched) then take the tracing paper to a graphics place to have the vynil done. It's quite a bit of work, and takes some patience and experience. Applying the graphics takes even more skill. I would personaly just mask and paint the hood/fender area colors, and get vynil for the lettering only. You coud also get a really thin letter transfer (can't remember the name of it) that you can clear coat over..

Check this eBay seller out - I've bought 2 sets of decals off him and I know he can custom make them for you too:

I have no affiliation with him.
