Gas smell when heater on (gone), then wet spot near distributor appeared

Hello all,

I smelled gas when I turned the heater on a few days ago, and checked along the fuel lines after seeing some threads here. I could not find leaks, or replicate the smell after that. I will bring in the car to a shop anyway, though.

So, now the smell is gone, but I found a wet spot near the distributor. Please see pic - it is along the edge, indicated by the yellow oval. It doesn't smell like gas (I suppose if it were gas, it should have been evaporated). Is it oil? If it is oil, where could it be coming from?

Thanks!

It was cam shaft oil feed line, behind heater duct. I am going to order parts and try fixing it myself.

Thanks!

Nice! An easy job, you may need to to remove the dizzy, not sure how looks on a 3.2.
