Steering wheel adaptor

So I got a new wheel that I <3 off of ebay... and it came with an adaptor, but I'm not sure how this is supposed to work. It seems like it has the right # of splines, and the right size... but there is a pin that does ???

How is that supposed to function anything like the turn cancellation tab? I don't get it.

I seem to recall my '89 hub has a 'tab' on it for turn signal cancellation - so maybe that pin is there to serve the same purpose...

The pin is the contact for your horn. There needs to be a cancellation tab for the turn signal. It looks like the hub you have is not drilled for one or it was cut off. You may need to take the one off your old wheel or get one elsewhere and figure out how to attach. Otherwise, you will need a new hub.

That's the horn contact. It should be spring loaded. Looks like you didn't get a cancellation ring but you usually just transfer from your existing wheel.
Edit: or you could just read what Harry already wrote!
