First Lift!!
I purchased a mid rise lift from Greg Smith Equipment on Saturday and raised the Porsche for the first time today!! I should have purchased one of these several years ago. I just changed out the heat exchangers for a set of SSIs laying on my back on the concrete and that would have been so much easier with the lift.
The picture is with the lift in the second of seven locking positions. I need to make a set of nice ramps like Souk's but other than that it is sweet! ![]()

Congrats!
Just curious, what are you using as pick up points?

Very cool. Do you need to bolt it into the floor? How did you position it into place? I am definitely going to consider getting one.

How did you get it into the garage. Is delivery to door (garage)? It looks like there are some metal casters on it - is that for minor positioning in the garage?

The lift is the Pro 6MR from Greg Smith Equipment and it operates on 110V. I hauled it home on my car trailer, but it would have fit in a pickup.
For lifting, I tried to get as close as I could to points C and D on this diagram. I'm not sure that is the best location. What do others use as the lifting points? ![]()

Mike, I have used it to lift my VW R32 and the 964, the inlaw's Volvo XC90, a Volvo 740, Saturm SW2... I have not tried with the SC... could not figure out a safe jacking point under there... but I will need to use it on it soon...
Thank you for the photo!
