Driving light suggestions.......
Hey all-
I want to put driving lights on the front to cut the deep forests here on the island. I have nothing currently attached, i.e., fogs. Need bright and L-O-N-G throw. Suggestions on brands other than PIAA? Is mounting difficult if not using the stock-type Bosch? Thanks Bill

What year car? Do you have in mind above or below the bumpers?
Look at Where are you guys buying your horn grill lights? and For the folks looking for Cibie or Marchal hood lights. for some old-school ideas. For a really long throw, the "classical" solution is to put a pencil beam on the driver's side and normal driving beam on the co-driver's side. You will have a hard time finding a pencil beam in a 5" round or rectangular housing, I think. For 5" round, Tangos aren't bad at all. I think PIAAs are just wrong on a Porsche

The car is a guards red '76. Yes, I know that PIAA is not the right look, but I have not found others. I would prefer to go with below-the-hood lights in a 25 degree arc.
Who else makes 'em?

Below the hood won't get you as much throw, but OK. Check out what Cibie has got now at
http://cibieusa.com/cibie_main_frameset.htm Maybe Airport or Charlie? Cesar is a very long throw beam, not clear how it will look on the car.

Thanks for the link. I'm liking the big throw but not the style.
