Seat dye (cloth)
Guys,
The sparcos in my 911 have one spot that turned gray (from black), and that spot only, it's not consistent.. I think it was a spill and the cleaner I used did something to the color ! I'm aware of things like surflex for panels and leather, but is there a good dye that could make my seat cushion black again ? The seats are great other than that ! It's cloth, and seems pretty good at repelling water too unfortunately !! Thanks ! Last edited by Deschodt; 03-12-2007 at 04:09 AM.. |

Go for Rit dye. They sell it in in powder and liquid at any fabric store or even Wal-Mart (if you don't mind feeding the machine).
While you're at it re-dye your red (or pink) heater knobs with the red rit dye. How to on taking those throttle and heater handles off |

On some cloth seats I had I used a spray can similar to spray paint but it is made for fabric. Stuff actually works pretty well.
You can buy it at Pep boys and the like.
