Hot Tip: Ignition
I just upgraded my stock cap and rotor with 25k miles on them, to a BRAND NEW cap and rotor, and the car just runs a WHOLE lot better. Go figure.
My sister brought her Grand Voyager kidhauler by and the cap looked like there'd been a war in there. She said she just had it 'serviced.' As it turns out, professionals sometimes cut corners. This is my high-tech, hi-performance tip of the month. Change your cap and rotor if you're like me and sometimes neglect it. ------------------ '83 SC |

Yep, those new OEM parts sometimes work miracles! Sort of like the same kind Split-Fire always claims in their ads, only they always compare themselves against an old, worn-out, sooty set of plugs ... and a set of $6 NGK's (not $6 each, a whole set for $6) would also get you the same power 'increase' they claim!!! ------------------ Warren Hall 1973 911S Targa |

I think most of us are guilty of overlooking the simple or the obvious on an occation or two. But the mech for your sister, that's unexcussable!!! If not just dishonest!!!
