Cool but I'll stick to my 78SC Targa. What is that on the Boxster front end?

old_skul 01-02-2001 09:40 PM

I think that's what's left of an MR-2.

Jesus, what is Porsche doing to the Boxter? Someone's dropping Shrooms into the Stuttgart drinking supply. It almost looks like an f'ing Toyota Spyder or whatever those damned things are with the Briggs and Straton 5.0 HP engines in them.

The Boxter and Roadster are disappointing, but that GT3!!!! What would you guys do??? The Porsche Cayenne for big $$$$ or would you go with the VW Colorado knowing it shares the same blood without the "CREST"??

Barf! I thought Toyota was ripping off Porsche, not the other way around. I sure hope that's camo.

Entry level roadster has potential. Wonder what it'll have under the hood? Porsche engines are tough to factor in to a low cost model.

Cayenne is seriously loaded with camo. I think those wheels are red herrings, too. Can't call that one yet.

I dunno, I kinda dig the Roadster look - it looks a lot like a cabrio Turbo. I like the headlights a lot better than today's 911/Boxster lights. It looks extra on the small. Maybe they'll make it to compete with the low 30s crowd - S2000, TT, etc.
