Looks good! I use to be a ski bum my self, but as the years go by I have more problems with my knees and I get altitude sickness now (not good living here in Utah). Anyway, I wanted to ask what was involved in doing coil overs on an SC. I have an 81 911SC that I have done alot of upgrades on, but I am unsure of what is involved in putting coil overs on. Paul

Nice page. My suggestion with regard to graphics and sounds? Don't! At least those automatically-loading midi songs -- they drive me nuts.

You might also want to break it up into different pages, in time -- one for you, one for the kids, one for the plane, one (or more) for the Porsche. I know you've got racing experience, and a page of tips and tricks for the track would keep me coming back.

But right now it's a fine looking page and a great looking 911! (Cute kids, too.)

BlackDiamond, Coil overs are really simple. Really all there is to it, is to remove your torsion bars and shocks/struts all the way around, and install the coil over shocks. The coil springs wrapped around the shocks are now your springs, and you dont need the torsion bars anymore. Then of course, corner balance and align.

Erm that rear spoiler looks a bit unusual. What exactly is it? It doesn't look like the stock Carrera 3.2 spoiler. http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/confused.gif

Very nice car. I have a question about the engine management system and throttle bodies...who's are you using?? I am thinking about purchasing a SDS EM3-6F crankfire fuel / ignition system for my 3.2 and and noticed you have the direct fire ignition coils that they also use. Whose supplied the throttle body set up ? Will you be using this same system for the C2 turbo engine or keeping the factory CIS. At the moment I am trying to get a handle on the price of my project and any details you can supply will be most appreciated. Cheers.

Mikkel, It is a factory electric tail from a '91 C2. (yes it works) And this car had a 3.0 not a 3.2. It is a '78 SC.

Davinder, the system I'm using there was from Electromotive. The throttle body setup came from Richard Clewitt who has a link on the Elec. webpage. It cost @$5-6000 if I remember. I sold that engine complete by way of EBAY ! The C2 Turbo engine going in, will have just exhaust, power cone, 1.2 bar wastegate, and a HKS fuel enrichment kit. The rest stock.
