SC door panel question

So in the interest of monetary preservation, I would like to preserve my existing panels but remove the door pocket, arm rest and door pull. I realize there will be some holes but I feel like I can use some quality plugs to make them look ok. Has anyone done this before? Do you recommend using a RS door pull? I am struggling with what to utilize for the door pull as that is where the biggest holes are. As always thanks Pelicanites.

If they are in good shape you could sell the door pockets, arm rests and door pulls for more than the costs of RS panels

The holes will not be your issue, the arm and pocket leaves a big imprint after all these years if they are on there correctly. On that same note the stitching on the top of the door does not extend past the arm rest so it will IMO look weird. I made a set of RS style door panels for $75. They came out nice considering the cost. Here is the thread of the build,

RS style door pannels, a fiberglass project

I actually like my red pulls more than the RS pulls they give a bit more of an in your face style to the car.

Regards
Dave
