Finally, new (old) seats! woo-hoo!
 

Finally secured a set of factory original seats for our 1978 911SC to replace the aftermarket seats the PO had installed. The PO's seats shown here:

No comments on what caused the hole on the driver's seat, it was there when we bought it!

Got a set of leather standard seats that were out of a friends 1980 SC shown here:

Cleaned off the little bit of mold and installed them today to see how they fit and feel on the road. Very pleased with the improved sliders and the fit of the original seats.

Next decision is whether to try dying to black or ordering new leather skins for a fresh recover.

Recover the Recaros in leather to match the int....or find the original Recaro fabric, looks period correct.
