Anyone know this car: dark silver Carrera, "Flat 6" license plate, NE Ohio

I am curious if anyone in NE Ohio is familiar with a car I used to see around my hometown, Hudson, OH. I saw it 3-4 times in Hudson, but I have not seen it for 2 years or so.

It was a gunmetal gray (not sure of the actual color name) -- you might call it a dark silver (probably my favorite Carrera color). It was in VERY nice shape, with either "Flat 6" or "Flat Six" (I can't remember which) license plate. It had quite a few tasteful mods, including later year 17" wheels (Twists, maybe), dual-out exhausts, Momo wheel, etc.

I saw the car parked twice & driving once or twice, but I was never able to talk to the owner.

I am only asking because I would like to see it again & I would like to talk to the owner. I am guessing the owner either sold the car or moved away.

Doug- Don't take me or my car too seriously, I was just having some fun.

I need to get the car aligned. Have you been to Steinel's lately? I wonder if he is starting to get backed up. I am waiting for a few good days of rain.

No problem -- I know you were just having fun. As for Steinel's, I suggest calling him ASAP to get on his schedule. I know that he gets pretty busy this time of year as the cars come out of hibernation.

Give them a call & make an appointment. They are often open on Saturday mornings for drop-offs & pick-ups. Let me know if you need a ride there or home. I would be glad to help -- I am always looking for an excuse to poke around his shop. I often drop off on a Saturday & then have him lock the key in the car out front when he is done. Then I can pick it up after he closes.

Let me know if I can help.

Hey Slugos

Hi guys

Well. The season is upon us N.E. Ohio Pelicanites.

It's time to shower off the salt and get your cars ready to run. Mine is at Steinel's for some deferred maintenance. Should be ready soon....

- new windshield
- new pads/flush brakes/clutch
- repair idiot PO headlights, adding marker lights
- install brake pedal sensor
- install new fresh air motor

Doug, Doug is right. I got on Erik's calendar two weeks ago for this current Spa treatment. I recommend calling now.

Wellborn

Doug & Wellborn-

Car goes in for an alignment next Thursday. It looks like spring is going to hit again in the next couple of days. I hope it stays this time.

I am anxious to get the car out. Put in a short shift kit, new bushings and Wevo coupler. Seems to shift real nice in and out of my garage!
