AFM restoration
It is always nice to be able to pass on positive experiences one has in the Porsche community. Recently I posted here looking for someone who could restore the Bosch AFM on my 3.2. Mr. Dave McKenzie responded with the needed information. Many thanks to Dave. He directed me to an outfit in San Pablo CA that does AFM restoration primarily for BMW's hence their name Bavarian Restoration. I just received my restored AFM and I am very happy with the results. Car performs better and the AFM looks like new. Contact is bavrest@gmail.com.
There are a lot of Porsche's out there, not just 911's, that use the Bosch AFM. So here is a shop that can restore your AFM to like new for what I thought was a very reasonable price. By the way, no other shops were recommended to my original post.
