installing a rennline strut brace

Re:

2 Point Strut Brace - Rennline strut tower braces bolt in and out in minutes and require no drilling.

Before I do something stupid.

The mounting plates have two bolt holes. Are those for the two rear bolts?

Once it is on, do I tension it with a lot of force or just take out the slack?

Any special install tips.

Thanks

I installed one of this on my '71 911T

The rear 2 bolts are the ones you use.

I just took the slack off plus a bit more

maybe an expert can jump in and tell us exactly how tight to tension it.

If I'm only taking out the two bolts, I don't have to worry about alignment, right?

I went with the Elephant 2-point brace and did not have to worry about the alignment. Chuck's instructions were to tighten a 1/4 turn. You might check with Pelican or Rennline - seems there should be some installation instructions for it.

if your only taking out to two bolts you don't have to worry about alignment but while tey're out don't jar the car around or sit in it as you alignment is only being held by the one bolt.
