glove box pics

Can anyone post a pic of glove box close up for a mid year 911? My Targa had a dash fire and burned the cover off the glove box. Having the entire car reupholstered and we're scratching our heads about the glove box detail. A close up of it open and closed would help greatly. Thanks,Bob

Since no one else has posted a pic, here is one of mine. Though I think mine is a later style than you're looking for...

Just a note, my car was converted from a SC to a Carrera turbo look. The work wasn't prefect and I've been slowly fixing and adjusting things over the past two years that I've owned it. There is a small damaged portion on the bottom seam. Looks like someone put something in there like a pen and then opened the glovebox door.

Matt's pictures look identical to the glove box on my '74.

As I recall, to get my glove box door off, I removed the lower knee pad, (fun project finding the 7MM nuts holding that on). After that, a couple of 8 or 9MM nuts holding the hinged portion of the glove box on. Comes right out. Patience and a good light under the dash to locate the knee pad nuts. One is hidden on the corner by the pass.side, the other two along the bottom of the dash. You can feel them if you run your hand under the knee pad.
