Lloyd's mat fit for early cars?
I just purchased some Lloyd's carpeted floor mats for my 1970 coupe through our host. The mats are beautiful but seem way too large. They over lap the pedals and go half way up the tunnel on the drivers side and cover the floorboard pocket on the passenger side.
I called the factory and they sent me the dimensions for a 68-73 coupe. The mat measurements match the drawings they sent but this doesn't help the fact that they don't fit! Has anyone else experienced this problem with early mats? If so how did you resolve it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Darryl

Lloyds is very, very helpful and good with customer service.
If the mats are too big, you can mark them with tailor's chalk and send them back to them, they'll cut them however you want and send them back to you for free. Just call them and tell them your problem, and what you'd like to do. |

Thanks the...I will give that a try. I just thought that if they were custom made by model they would fit out of the box. I was hoping they sent the wrong ones but the dimensions they sent proved otherwise.

My 88 has Lloyds mats in it, but I am missing a couple of the nylon "ties" that hold the mat in place. Does anyone have contact information for Lloyds so I can order additional "ties" (brain freeze, so I don't know what else to call them).
Thanks.
