Anyone with ElectroMotive units installed?

I'm in the process of re-locating my ElectroMotive HPV-1's. Originally they were installed on a custom bracket on the right side/top of the engine. The problem with this is you can't run the factory air box or a PowerFlow unit. So I need to move them because I have a PowerFlow that I would like to install. From what I understand the most common location is on the firewall between the two shock towers. It would seem like adjustment would be difficult in this location?
Please post your mounting locations and how they are mounted.

Thanks

i've seen a lot of them in the cockpit where the passenger seat would be in a street car. this is a great position for it. another position i have seen is on the firewall behind the driver, mounted to an aluminum plate.

good luck!

Obin,

I thought about mounting them in the interior by the rear passenger area. I would think that the spark plugs wires would have to be rather long to accomplish this.

Anybody have any thoughts on this? Problems?

rattlsnak,

That looks sharp except I have two HPV-1's and also a very large Intercooler with additional injector installed.

Ok, I have seen lots of these installed in the rear shelf/seat area. The plug wires are VERY long, but seem to work fine.
