Went to my first porsche club meeting last night

Well as a new owner of a 911sc I went ahead and joined the porsche club and went to my first meeting last night. I was a little bit surprised..what a great bunch of people in the club there were more younger members in the porsche club than in the corvette club that I am still in until my corvette sells...the guys in the P club called the corvettes "tupperware" had a great dinner met some really cool people. I look forward to getting involved with auto crossing and touring with the club. Just thought I would share that with you guys.

Welcome to the PCA! I strongly recommend that you also sign up for several Drivers Ed events. While AutoX certainly teaches you car handling, breaking, turning, etc., I enjoy the high speed DE far more. You really learn your limits and your car's limits in a controlled and safe environment. As a result, become a better and safer driver on the street.
