Mine was a paint to sample when ordered. I've always considered it pretty close to the early 60's Ruby Reds. Besides, she's named Ruby, and she is Red.

Though this thread is a little dated, I would love to say, NICE cars GREAT color. I am posting my new (first) 1983 SC. I have become addicted to Pelicans BBS. I found this car on the web. Your correct. Ebbe... I contacted the seller as I found out later, the hype and ill will about purchasing from this company. I did get treated well though and realized I was purchasing "as is". Like any purchase do your homework. Honestly, I just wanted the car. Must have been the color. FYI, I never name my vehicles never. This one though I named "Ruby".
