Help to identify a particular 911...

Hello

Once again I'm requesting some assistance on a potential 911 for my dream project car. But she's.. special

I found this 911 from a 2019 ad in my area (Turin - Italy) and she was still available:
This particular '84 911 was elaborated in the 80's from a shop known for their tailor-made creation.
Wealthy client, mafia boss or dictators, this shop specialised in armoured car...

Beside the obvious aesthetics modification -with all the 80's bells and whistles electronics- it received turbo fender, bullet proof windows (probably reinforced door panels too), even an intercom to communicate outside..

So I'm trying to do some digging' on the origin of the car, starting with the VIN and some options codes:

Quartz Gray met. on the exterior, Italian car (C07) but I'm puzzled by the "AX" for interior and the "D06" code. I'm thinking perhaps that shop had the label redone in some sort?

Any insights would be appreciated!

I think that’s the interior code for Fugazi. Fuggettaboudit!

OP, I can't help you but that is a very interesting 911.

Re: the armored glass, you can see the lamination beginning to fail on the windshield and rear window in some of the photos.

here's what vin analytics pulled off (not sure how reliable this is..)

Going through my literature references, the only "AX" interior code I found was from the 1989 club sport (which wasn't produced)??

No turbo. Just a solid 3.2 with wide fender.
