lost the clutch pedal with my G50
I was driving at a DE event last weekend when my clutch decided to no-longer disengage. After limping off the track by starting the car in first gear I tried bleeding the slave cylinder but no luck. The pedal felt normal but it would not disengage the clutch. Typically when there is a hydraulic problem, the pedal will sink to the floor and stay there. I ended up driving home without using the clutch. Fortunately I only had to stop three times. No strange vibrations or noises during the drive home. The distance from the track is about 65 miles.
Today I put the car up on jack stands and removed the inspection cover so I could see the clutch release fork. The good news - the slave cylinder is working properly and moving the clutch release fork about 2 cm. The bad news - since the slave is working, there must be something wrong with the clutch/fork assembly. I foresee an engine drop in my near future. Any ideas on what could have failed? Anybody want to wager a guess as to how much this could cost? Here is some additional information about the car. Its a 1987 coupe with 125k on the clock. I have only owned the car since August and the PO didn't have many records. I have no idea if or when the clutch was replaced. The clutch doesn't slip and the trans shifted normally (even without using the clutch). Since i have owned the car, the clutch has always engaged in the top inch or two of pedal travel. Any advice is appreciated but donations would be better! Kidding.

It sounds like you may have damaged one of the two items in the picture below. You should be able to tell with a mirror looking through the large square hole in the side of the bell housing.
