Shipping questions

I had a trunk lid on ebay that sold VERY cheaply. UPS won't take the part, it's too big. FedEx wants about $120. How does one ship such an item? I'm open to ideas, but please be thorough, I'm new at this shipping and Ebaying stuff.

Thanks,

Yellow Freight or the like!

$120 sounds a little expensive, David. Try ABF or Yellow. They'll ship your part overland much more cheaply.

I had a pottery wheel shipped from Florida to Ohio via ABF for about $120. It weighed 150 pounds. I doubt your part weighs that much http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/smile.gif

What's ABF or Yellow Freight? Do they ship to Hawaii?

Southeastern is one of the cheapest to ship if your in the Southeast. The item is too big for the other carriers. Its not the weight of course. One guy on a UPS or FED EX truck cannot handle it!
