Swepco 201
Has anyone had leaking problems using Swepco 201 in a 901 trans?
I've read about the advantages, are there any negatives. Thanks in advance, Rob

$50/gallon is one disadvantage I can think of. Your Porsche came from the factory with Shell gear lube that you can pick up anywhere for $5/qt. Changing old gear oil always makes a noticeable difference, whether or not you choose the Swepco product at almost three times the cost.

I noticed a difference change from fresh oil to 201, shifted a little smoother and because it is a bit of a pain to change I think the $50 is okay. I also have a LS Diff and it works great with that. I also tried the 212 and that is too thick, made things knotchy.

i was told by a 915 pro that heat is not at issue off the track. He told me to dump the 212 and run 201. My issue was 110F desert heat.
