Torque Spec on SC Rotors

Can someone tell me what the torque spec is on SC rotors to hubs.

I believe it's 18 ft. lbs on the 13 mm bolts/nuts.

17 ft-lbs

What 13 mm??
They are 8mm nuts and bolts requiring 17 ft-lbs.

People confuse the wrench-size with the actual bolt-size. :)

I know, I know, but if I had told him 8mm and he tried using a wrench on them he would have thought I gave him bad advice. :)

I always think of the wrench size when referring to fasteners. I thought everybody did this way.

Bad habit, Wayne. :) We need to steer away from that.

Correct industrial application in SAE or DIN is to ALWAYS refer to the actual thead-size, NOT the wrench size, to avoid confusion.

Example: For the CV's, the correct torque for the 8mm Allen bolts would be for 8mm, NOT for the 6mm Allen key. ;)

Cheers

It's actually 18.44 ft-lbs since Germans use metric = 25Nm x 0.7375 ft-lb/Nm
