Hah! Great timing with your question. Toastmaster makes the coffee pot, which is designed by F.A. Porsche. I purchased one about a year and a half ago for $350 at Bloomingdales. About 3 months ago, the thermostat went bad, which was fixed under warranty. Yesterday, a large, melted hole appeared in the bottom of the pot. I took the coffee pot back to Bloomingdales today to exchange it for a new one and learned that they don't make them anymore. Probably for good reason, too, since it seems they don't hold together very well. I'm bummed, though, since I liked the design and functionality alot. Maybe you can pick one up on eBay, but be careful.

Maybe this will be standard equipment on the new Cayenne (Porsche's SUV)? Perhaps in a convenient location on the dash. Nothing like some CEO's wife driving 65 in a 25mph zone, talking on her cell phone, and poaring herself a cup of coffee all at once! Seems like I've already seen this in the Ford Expedition/Navigator crowd?

Thought it might give yall a chuckle.
Nick.

Seems to be status quo here in Newport Beach w/ the Mercedes and BMW SUV wives, although I don't think it's the Porsche coffee pot......Yet. With the Cayenne on the horizon perhaps Bloomies will reconsider carrying the pot. Maybe Porsche can come up with a P-Phone, you know, cause some more distraction for those busy, busy, CEO wives.
