HELP!! Window Removal - Window Channel Replacement

HELP!!

I've gotten the passenger side door panel removed from my '79 SC. I'm attempting to remove the window to replace the felt window channel. I can't figure out how to remove the window.

I've been told to loosen the lower track bolts and spread slightly. Where are these bolts? I think I found one at the bottom of the left side window channel. There's a 6mm allen head bolt going into a small bracket that attaches to the channel. Presumably, this holds tension against the channel. There's an "L" coming off this bracket that goes into the door and it's held by a 5mm allen bolt. Is this the lower track bolt?? Do I remove the bracket?

Where's the other bolt? I don't see anything on the other channel that looks like it's putting any tension on the window. Do I just pull on the channel? I'm confused about how the window is held into place and how to remove it. Plese help soon - it's in pieces. THANK YOU!!!!

Found your car on the Gallery, a Coupe-cool. When I replaced my felts, I found it easiest to remove the window frame, and to leave the window glass in place. The frame will lift straight up off the glass and make it easy to replace the felts, then just slide the frame back down onto the glass. If I remember right there are seven allen bolts that hold this frame in place, some different lengths so don't forget to label them! The two on the front of the door and three at the back of the door are underneath black plastic caps that you must pop out with a small masking tape wrapped flat screwdriver (save the paint). Be very careful removing the bolts on the front of the door, if you drop them inside the door you will never see them again (blind compartment). I put a little trim glue on my allem wrench to hold them in place as I backed them out. So in total there are three at the back of the door (one low, two high) Two at the front of the door (both high) and two underneath the interior panel, one low with the bracket you describe (bracket can stay on frame) and a high one right at the window sill where the vent window and main window meet. Have the window glass about 2"-3" above the sill when you remove the frame, then just slide it back in place with your new felts. Take a close look at your old felts before you remove them because If I remember right, one leg is slightly longer than the other, can't remember whether it's the front or back? Also I already had the outer window sill trim piece off for powder coating, I don't know if this will have to come off to raise the frame or not, if so it is held in with a half dozen spring clips, just lifts right off. Thanks, Tom. Unfortunately, by the time I read this, I had managed to get the window out of it's track. Now, I've gotten the channels in place, but I can't get the window to stay in it's track. Any ideas?
