911 3.0 SC/ Special edition 35 years Porsche

I just bought a 1982 3.0 liter 911 SC which is a special edition, colour is
meteor silver, Burgundy leather interior with the signature of Ferry porsche
woven in the upholstery. I know that it is one of the 200 built of this
version, the 35 Jubily of Ferry Porsche, and that it is a European version.
I imported it from Switserland to Holland. It has 85.000 KM original on the
speedometer and it has the original servicerecords to prove that.

Are there people out ther who have more information about such cars, maybe
have original sales brochures they want to sell or scan and send me a JPEG,
or know about other owners with simular cars of this specific evrsion?

Any information would be highly appreciated!

Regards,

Rens Pels

Hey buddy, post a pic of this thing, including interior, engine and trunk. I'd definitely like to check it out. Warren might know something about such cars.

Rens, If you want to post the pictures of your car to the board, (and I wish you would) you first need to post them on the web someplace, and link to them. www.photopoint.com is a good place, they are free, and fairly easy to work with.

You then need to use the UBB code to insert the image to your post. Instructions on how to use UBB code is here:
http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/ubbcode.html

You can also use HTML, if you know how, but UBB is easier.

Hope this helps.

I've seen such a 911 in some of my books. I will look for it when I get home. It's an ordinary SC in a special trim version. It only came in Meteor Metallic and with that interior.

Nice................
I checked the book, it was actually for the 50th anniversary of Porsche according to Peter Morgan - Original Porsche 911 - and
(his words) were to a high specification, including a rear wiper and 15" 7/8J Fuchs.
Best of luck with that fine machine!!!!!!!!!!!!

Porsche started its "Konstruktionsbüro" in 1931/32. So the car celebrates 50 years of the Porsche company.

Nice looking car...I have a 84 Euro Cab..When i was looking to purchase my Porsche, gray market vehicles were not on my list. But it took the right car for me to buy. I am very please with the Eurocars which seem to have a personality all to their own..Enjoy the new ride....
